Are you a registered fundraiser?
Yes. Project:Purse and Boots is registered with the American Heart Association. Donations made through the Fundraising WebPage are tax deductable to all donors.

What’s The Purse’s Schedule?
The Purse is scheduled to start its tour on August 21st, 2010 at BloggyBootCamp San Francisco, hosted by TheSITSGirls. The tour will end with the purse returned to me in time for BlogHer11 in San Diego the first week of August, 2011.  In between The Purse will be doing its impression of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and roaming the country encouraging fun and frivolity.

Can I request specific Purse dates to coincide with an event?
Yes, as long as the date hasn’t already been grabbed by someone else. If you’re going to a blogging event, The Purse is quite the media hog and would love to be there with you.

How many stops with the purse be making?
The goal is 45 stops between 8/21/10 and 8/1/11.

What do I have to do when I am hosting The Purse?
Organize a Women’s Night (inviting menfolk is totally acceptable) and dress-up. And take pictures. And have a lot of fun.

Does it cost me anything to host the Purse?
There are modest costs with mailing the purse to the next recipient (the purse weighs  less than a pound) and buying a padded mailer (got one already? recycle!)

What happens once I sign up to host The Purse?
We’ll figure out the week when it should be with you, and then iron out a few details via email.
